Above our Region
Our house is not only located in one of the sunniest and loveliest areas of the republic, but also the close proximity to Switzerland and France makes a stay with us so appealing. The border to Basel/Riehen is only six minutes away from us by car. Exactly there is also the famous Fondation Beyeler. The art museum, built by the famous architect Renzo Piano, houses more than 250 works of classical modern and contemporary art and is known far beyond the borders of Switzerland due to its changing exhibitions. Thanks to its large number of museums, however, Basel is not only culturally worth a detour. The medieval city on the Rhine is also known as the headquarters of the pharmaceutical industry. An international audience is therefore not uncommon.
Also just around the corner: Alsace at the foot of the Vosges Mountains, which invites you to visit with its half-timbered houses, wine and savoir-vivre. How about a stroll through picturesque Mulhouse or a visit to the Ecomusée d’Alsace? But it’s not only beautiful outside the country’s borders; there’s also plenty to discover here. It is called the Tuscany of Germany: the Markgräflerland, which invites you to stroll, hike and bike through its beautiful hilly landscape – including a stop at one of the countless wineries in the region.

Also just a stone’s throw away: the Black Forest, which can be easily reached by driving through the small and large Wiesental. Curious now? We would be happy to put together your personal excursion program and give you tips for an unforgettable and individual stay! Just contact us.
